A user-friendly web shop that generate customers and additional sales requires a focus on usability and SEO optimisation. When clothing brand Bitte Kai Rand updated their older CMS system, it was therefore natural to work with those two particular areas. For Kailow, the task thus was to create a web shop which got more traffic, and a high degree of usability for the customer. Bitte Kai Rand had a desire for the site to have more features. Among other things, the web shop had to handle both B2B and B2C customers. Furthermore, of course it was important that the site was in line with Bitte Kai Rand’s unique graphic identity.
User-friendly web shop
Kailow created a SEO-optimised website, which also contains a user-friendly shop. One of the website’s unique features is an online concept catalogue that links the customer directly to the product. This with a view to additional sales, as well as branding. With the solution, the customer can quickly slide between the latest trends in full-length, and add the desired pieces of clothing to the virtual shopping cart. It is a technically complex solution. But it is a solution that creates a high degree of usability. Our approach is that functionality and ease of use is in both the buyer’s and seller’s best interest. That is precisely why we created a shop with a high degree of usability, designed for B2C and B2B customers in English, German and Danish. All with an eye to creating a common thread between Bitte Kai Rand’s Scandinavian aesthetics and the website’s graphic expression.
Search engine optimised web shop
A SEO optimisation means that more customers will flock to the site, as the solution ranks Bitte Kai Rand higher in a Google search. The high degree of usability means that the customer is held by the hand and makes it easy to shop online. The concept catalogue brands Bitte Kai Rand’s physical stores, but it also creates an incentive to buy from the web shop.
